When they get closer they will notice that the theater goers are intently watching something that is going on in the theater.  If the players ask around about what is happening, they find out that apparently the play that was going on involved a live ape at some point & the ape has escaped & is now just loafing about in the auditorium. The audience left, due to the fact that if the ape decided to go repent it could probably harm a good portion of them & are now just watching it while animal control (Or a druid equivalent) comes to safety take it back into captivity.

Soon enough it falls & hit a place in the visible distance of the party. If the party goes over to investigate, they will meet an interesting sight. They will find at the sight, a very much maimed celestial, who is currently bleeding out. If they are able to save it, the celestial will still be worse for wear (missing an arm, both their hands, the majority of their wings along with facial bruns). When the celestial wakes up, they will be confused on why they aren’t dead & if the players fess up that they saved them, the celestial will cry & save them. If they knock, or just barge in to investigate, they will find that it's just a legal dispute amongst three people & a lawyer. Before they leave, the people ask if they can be an unbiased party in this dispute. If they agree they will get to hear a quite interesting story. Apparently, this wealthy farm owner, named Hearld has died recently due to health complications, & has left his estate to another person named Hearld. Thiers's just one problem with this, their are three other Hearlds who can reasonably be stated as the one in the will. Constructs made of magic & science dot the landscape in ever increasing numbers, as more & more people make constructs for tasks & need. With these constructs, the world is put into a new golden age… However, all is not well. Those who don’t have good intent are making their own constructs for their nefarious means. Some wish to control the world with a mindless army of loyal constructs. Others attempt to find a way to subvert the power in constructs, to make them rebel against their masters or to serve another. However none of these can beat the true mad scientist  whose name & Identity is still unknown, but their actions are known far throughout the lands. This mad scientist believes that organic life has reached its peak & seeks to remedy it by making a construct  tha...

Mushroom Harvest (REVAMP Side quest idea)

Revamped Version: Here's one for you DM's that want a quest that will take you to drastically different places! The players are traveling in a remote town when they notice unusual white tents outside of the town. If they go over & ask what the tents are doing, apparently a magical illness has come through the area. The doctors in the tent will need 3 types of mushrooms to synthesize the cure for it. They will ask the party to go & find them. If the players agree the doctors will tell them where the mushrooms are. One is in the side of cliffs, it is grey with a black stem. The next can be found on rocks next to cactie, it is fully pink. The last is found in the insides of logs, that are in tundra regions, this shroom is all white & tends to blend into surrounding snow. The Bruiser (Villain idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a villain that will try to beat you players to death. Big bulking & ready for a fight the bruiser can throw you across the bridge with one arm, without breaking a sweat. They usually have something else going on with them as well, but none can deny that they have strength to spare! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Bruiser Archetype Weapon Master: This bulky bruiser is a master of weapons. If it can be built, they can hold it & use it. Doesn't matter if the weapon was made for someone of a vastly larger size than them (ie weapons for giants), they can wield it. If unarmed they still got the most natural weapon of all… the fist! Punchateer: This bulky bruiser is a master of the fist. If it exists, the punchateer can punch it until it breaks. It may take awhile, but their ability to be destructive with their fist, has outclassed ma...

Hier’s Crises (campaign idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a campaign, where your players get to be the rulers, of a bad situation. Long live the heir, for the king is dead. The previous king was wicked/turbulent,  & has left the country in a state of disrepair. With famine becoming common, resources become thin, decadence in bureaucracy turning programs inefficient, & a revolt maybe even revolution starting to brew. However internal troubles are not the only thing the heir has to deal with. A neighboring power wishes to expand its lands & the heir’s kingdom, to powerfull before but an easy target now with all the instability in the country,  would make a fine addition to their realm.  With all these troubles, the heir must find a way to sort it out & stay in power, or at the very least keep their head on their shoulders. The players will take the role of ruling the kingdom. One player will directly be the heir of the kingdom, while the rest are either friends/allies of the...

Sleepy Sheep Stuck Somewhere Steep (Side quest idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a quest on a perilous place . The party is in a mountainous herding community area, when they start to hear some yelling. When they go over, they will find a brawny gnome lady yelling at a sheep that is taking a nap on the side of a mountain ledge that is about 80 feet up from where she is. The lady will see the party & ask them to go up the cliff & carry down the sheep (since the gnome is too short to get up to the cliff & bring the sheep down). So now the party will have to get up the cliffs to the sheep & find a way to bring the sheep down (without hurting the sheep [or themselves] in the process)

Replica Replacement (one-shot idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a daring heist… that is to cover-up an original crime. The heist of the century has gone off without a hitch & now the spoils are to be gained… or it would have, if someone didn’t forget the replacement artifacts. In their highest they have stolen many important artifacts in the world's most prestigious museum, but accidently left the replacements back at the heights hq. This group of hiesters hire a group of people (the party) to go in & replace the artifacts for them. If they succeed, the hiester will give the part 1/4th of the heists proffit (Which in itself, would make them some of the richest people in the world). However, if they fail, they will not only be pinned for the current crime they are pulling, but the original one as well. Attribute: Deals 1d6 + str damage -If target is Incapacited, sleeping, paralized, & or stunned, this weapon will deal 1d8 damage, on top of the original damage --hitting a target that is,  Incapacited, sleeping, paralized, & or stunned, will relieve them of that alignment. -Crit fails deal twice as much damage to whoever it hits

The bag will clearly be marked with the owners name on it & the address it goes back to. If the players keep the gold & attempt to spend it anywhere, whenever they go to spend one of the coins from the bag, it will combust & deal 1d4 -2 damage (if anyone was holding it) & will be rendered unusable. Upon investigation they will notice that all the coins have a magic simple painted on them that causes this. If the players bring back the gold to the address the owner will thank them. REVAMP Versioin: Here's one for you DM's that want an interesting trade encounter. When the players come close, one of the guards will nudge the person on the half-orc on the cart & the half orc will look in the players general location, but not directly at them. The person will then ask if the players would be interested in trading any of their goods for one from the donkey cart. Here's one for you DM's that want some monsters that the players can be casual with. 1: A Kenku traveler, who's great perception they use to find hard to reach geographic areas that are rich in ore & mines it for themselves. If they find anyone on their travels & have ores, they will try to sell it at quite the upmark (about 20% higher than base price) 2: A changeling that has changes between 52 specific forms & owns an apartment building that only they live in. Why do they do this? Simple, it's just advanced tax return fraud! 3: A specter, that just spends all of their time maintaining a library. They often leave the library to gain more books for it... it's very much recommended that you never barrow a book & bring it back late (or not at all)! 4: An awakened shrub, who moves around the world to get the best places to rest & get sunlight. They have been doing this for so long, they have made a list of places which are the best to stay f...

Big Eddie is planning on doing some big plays that will change the status quo in the world. Of course those in power have caught wind of this & are no please. They decide that “big-e”needs to be put to a big end & those have hired a group of adventure (the party) to put an end to Edd. This is the truest form of unpredictability, as this form has complety given up attempting to be it's own entity & has allowed for the magic to do as it pleases. The Monstrosity: This force of magic instability, gave up their body to save the mind. The power of wild magic was too much for this villain & they had to choose one part of them to save while the...

Sadly though their popularity soon went down to near zero after about three months of retirement. In a quest to bring back this popularity, the group's leader has decided to do a yearly anniversary celebrating their many triumphs.  The leader decides to task an up & coming adventuring group, (the players) with bringing together the old gang before the anniversary of their retirement comes up in a month. The leader gives the party a name of people & cities they can be found in & tells them to “just go over to [insert leader name] place on the [insert date]”. Of Course nothing can be simple & if the players actually go to any of these people, they will hold animosity over some thing that happened over the adventure.
