Drunk Ork's Misadventure (Event/Side quest idea)

Here's another funny ones for you Dm's that want drunk people being stupid. The players are camping out for the night when they are awoken by a very loud drunk orc. Once they try & find out why he's creating a ruckus (assuming that they just won't beat him to death) they will find out that this drunk as carp orc wants to make a trade. He is will to trade a chest (that he somehow acquired) in exchange for more liquor. IF the players do this he will immediately drink the booze handed to him & then pass out. Once the players open the chest they will find that its full of high quality wine that hasn't been touched.

Os-vlo's camp (location idea)

Here's a location for you DM's that want just a passive place that's from point a to point b Appearance: A medium sized camp set on the side of the road. Smoke from camp fires burn the night away. Description: This camp started by Mr. Os-vlo, holds quite a few small business for traveling  players to acquaint them selves with. There's the fetcher (arrow maker), traveling supplier, weapon maintainer, a brewer,  & the small gazebo that hosts events every now & again. There's the main section meant for travelers to set up camp which costs a small fee of 10 silver. Possible Loot: Arrows, Food, Clothing, Bed Rolls, alcohol, silver, & any items travels might trade with each other. Possible enemies: Drunk travelers, raiders (goblin, orcs, kobolds), staff (if you start a fight with them), & or Mr. Os-vlo (Treat him like a level 5 sorcerer)

Art Jam (side quest)

Here's one for you DM's that have player character's who are artsy. The players get invited to a party at the local museum. When they arrive the owner informs everyone that there's a competition being held. The host states that anyone who makes a 'piece of art' & brings it here within the next three days will be entered into this competition. The host informs them that the top three pieces of art will get shown off at the museum, & most importantly that first place will receive 100 gold monetary prize.  If the players enter, when the bring there piece they will be informed to come back on the night after the last days of the competition (if they make a musical piece they will be informed to play for the host during the last day of the competition). On the night after the last day of the competition when the players come to see what place they get they will be informed of there placement in the competition.

Goblin Rush (encounter idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a battle where the players run away (& or do something smart). The players are out exploring the dungeon & they have already between the boss that was in there & are doing the tradition, 'loot everything that isn't nailed down' technique. After awhile of this they notice a door that wasn't there before. If they open it the will find that it leads into a large goblin camp. If the goblins notice them they will send some well equipped guards to attack them. IF the players fight them, more & more goblins will join the fight till the players have to run (& or do something smart to kill them quickly, & or to prevent them coming)

A Skeleton's Garden (encounter/event)

Here's one for you DM's that want ambiguity over the actions of the undead. The players are doing the good old fashion traveling when they see in the distance a big beautiful by garden. If the players go up & check on the farm they see that its maintained by a druid skeleton. The druid will ask the players to leave if they spot them on or near the garden, claiming that 'only non-mortal hands cannot taint nature."
