The Odd Fellow (companion idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want the party to have an 'odd' person come along with them on the parties adventure. The party is sulking around the usual hub area when they come across a person being harassed by about three people. At some point it will start to get physical & if the players stand in to help the poor fellow, they will have a surprisingly easy fight. If the players win the fight the person who was being beat up will thank them & tell them that this was all just because of an over-due 'Wessel' debt. The person will ask if they can fallow the party for 'just awhile' so that they can elude the gang. If the players agree, the odd fellow will be with them for the rest of the game. The odd fellow will sometimes provide the player with trinkets, or at least 'trinkets'.

Who's The Real Enemy! (Encounter idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that want a battle with a trickster opponent. The party is walking around a town when somebody bumps into one of them. After the person bumps into the player make them roll an easy perception check & if they succeed they will notice that there coin purse is missing. If they fail, just say that they feel a bit lighter for some reason. If the players have been paying attention they will likely have drawn together that the person who bumped into them took there wallet. If the players decided to track the person down they will find them at the end of an allie way. If they go into there to confront them, they will hear a person coming from behind them, that they are easy to trick. If they turn around they will see the same person at the end of the allie way, but there's three people at the entrance now. The Same person (from the end of the allie way) will agree & if the players look back there will be three of him there as well. A fight will t...

Necrotic Hold-out (campiagn idea)

Here's one for you Dm's who want an urban survival campaign. Once upon a time a lich lord attempted to take over the world. His starting conquest was quick, happening over night, & the fight against him took many months. Eventually he was defeated & his horde of undead were disbanded, never to cause the people of the world trouble again. This campaign is not about the people who stopped the undead lich lord, but is rather about a group of people who found that the city they lived in has been surrounded & invaded by an undead invader over night. Now stuck in the heart land of undead territory, this group of survivors must either find a way out of the lich lord's new domain & or hold out till the counter invasion begins. This article will like to note that the undead in D&D are not like the ones in the modern day traditional media. Undead have to be brought back from specific spells & as such, the players in this game should not have to worry abo...
