The Frost Frontier (Campaign Idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a more survival based campaign based around a small area. As time has move on, the expansions of civilization has know few bounds. Those bounds are poked & proded & every so often, civilization finds a way to break it & push through. Colonization of the cold, cold, tundra has become the next bound to be tested against the wave of civilization. Even if those places shouldn't be disturbed by civilizations touch, for it's own safety. The players star role in this story is some form of explorer, protector, or carrier for these new cities on the frost frontier. Through their adventures they will discover  (& hopefully thwart) multiple threats to the frost cities. Weather these be famines, temperature, wild wildlife, secret portal to an eldritch alternite dimension & or some other thing the DM decides to put in, the players have to attempt to twart them in order to keep the frontier stable!

A Witness (side quest idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a side quest based on tracking someone down. The players are in their local hub, when they find a crying little child sitting in one of the chairs. If the players go up & ask what they are crying about, the child will say that they witnessed their sibling & parent’s get kidnapped & that when they went to the guards, they were shurgued off as “just a liar”. After that they will ask the party to find who did this & to “bring their family back”. If they agree there's a multitude of ways the DM can play out this quest. Firstly, it can be made time sensitive, & or stealth sensitive (with what happens from failing either of these being decided by the DM). Nonetheless, if the party find the person who took the kid’s family within the limitations the family will thank them but will have no way to finacle reward them [however the family will let the players stay the night for free, forever {unless circumstances make this possible}...

Dungeon Resting (Game mechanics idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want something to happen when your players rest in the dungeon Players resting in a dungeon is a risky move, & one should be prepared to face dangers if they plan to do so. In the case they do rest in a dungeon, choose one of the list items below to show what danger they may face (rolling a die that is equal to the amount of list items is recommended as well). please note you can & should add items to this list that fit your dungeon 1:  Enemies Common to the dungeon appear to attack! 2: The fire spontaneously goes out 3: The boss/mini-boss of the dungeon stumbles upon the party 4: Nothing happens... 5: A potion is placed just at the edge of the players campground 6: A trail of bronze coins start from the fire & lead off into somewhere else  7: Something is feeding nearby… 8: A Chest was put into the camp! (most likely a mimic)
