A Chase Downtown (Side quest idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want to have a good old fashion foot chase, though crowded areas. The players are walking around the town when they hear someone shouting, "SOMEBODY STOP THAT THIEF". That someone will then point at a very obvious shifty looking person. That person will then run the in the opposite direction. If the players decided to intervene, the thief will try & eluded them (chaos insures). If the players are able to catch up to the thief, they will notice that they are just a child & that they only stole some food from the person of before. IT is now up to the players on what to do next.

Alot of Gaul (event idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want the players to have bird trouble. The players are in a costal area, when all of a sudden some gauls start to follow them. After awhile, more & more gauls will start to show up. Keep doing this till their is an absurd amount. If the players at any point try to shoo away the gauls, they will just fly away & then regroup with about twice as many gauls as before. If they attack one of the gauls, the gauls will begin to rush at them to fight (que encounter) If the players at some point take out a food item/something shiny the birds will swarm the players to get that thing. If the players try to fight back the gauls will just swarm them as well & the bird that got them item will try & fly away. At this point, if the players fight the gauls & or attacks the gaul with the object, the gauls will fly away & leave the players alone.

Trash fu (enocounter idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want to go fighting some hobos The players are traveling around in a garbage dump when they spot a very prominent pedestal. On top of the pedestal is a golden rod that has a tin can attached to the top. If the players go & take the rod (& or try & remove the tin can) they will here something move. If they look around to see what it was, they will find some hobos who aren't taking to kindly to them mess with their golden rod. Counting on what the players do, they may or may not have to fight the hobos (It will be leaning more towards having to fight them, due to the hobos' being really mad that the players wandered into their territory & touched one of their valued items). If they have to fight the hobos, they will find that some of the hobos' are fairly skilled monks who have taken to living as hobo's due to it being a simple life.
