Jar full of person (side quest idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a side quest, based around saving a trapped person. The players have just cleared out a dungeon & are now doing a good old fashion “Loot everything that isn’t nailed down” approach. But as they do this, they find a weird looking tall jar filled with a green liquid, with a warning simple that reads “Open with care” . If they look closely at the jar, they will see that a halfling is inside of it & is innatimate. The party can then decide if they want to get the person out of the jar. If they open it by just smashing the glass, the person inside of the jar will still be inanimate. If they investigate the jar, they will be able to notice several keyholes at the bottom. If the players open up each of these keyholes, the glass will disappear & the green liquid that was in it will flow out to the floor around it. After that the person will become animated (what happens next is up to the DM & the players)
