Npc Bundle: Last Stander, Survivors (npc idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a battle experience, but currently lonely, person to show up for a bit. 1: A dwarf ranged fighter, who is currently just wandering about looking for fighters for the next crew they need. 2: A human bard that has been playing a sad melody for about 2 weeks, in memory of their fallen friends. 3: A Harpy Commander that is not really to bother at the fact that their whole squad died & is more interested in just finding some lunch & a place to nap. 4: An otter who was a party’s mascot, that now just travels about, looking for a new crew of adventurers to follow (& to mooch food of off) 5: A halfling engineer, who’s crew may or may not have accidentally died from a very badly timed explosive device, that the engineer may or may not have built.

A Show Down (encounter idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want a stage fight. The players are off doing a chase fight around town, & as they chase the person they are fighting around, they dart out of & into multiple buildings. After awhile they will end up darting into an opera house & soon enough the chased will start to slow down & breath once they find themselves in the middle of a stage.  If the players go to engage, the curtains will rise & both the players & the enemy will find themselves in front of a (relatively small) audience. The enemy will stop for a bit, before starting to act like it’s a performance. What happens next is up to the players, but if the road gets displeased, they may rush the stage.

Chest Childling (event/item idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want an odd item, lead to an even odder event. The players are going about their lives, when they find a chest in the middle of a barren road. The chest will be shaking a bit. If the player goes up to open it, the chest will stay 100% magicly shut. If The players are able to dispel the spell & or find a way around it, they can open the chest. Inside the chest is a tiny baby harby & a recently broken shell, the baby harpy will be in a magically induced sleep for 2 hours after the chest is open, in which none of it’s needs need to be met. After two hours the baby harpy will wake up & it’s up to the party what happens next.
