Mushroom Harvest (REVAMP Side quest idea)
Revamped Version:
Here's one for you DM's that want a quest that will take you to drastically different places!
The players are traveling in a remote town when they notice unusual white tents outside of the town. If they go over & ask what the tents are doing, apparently a magical illness has come through the area. The doctors in the tent will need 3 types of mushrooms to synthesize the cure for it. They will ask the party to go & find them.
If the players agree the doctors will tell them where the mushrooms are. One is in the side of cliffs, it is grey with a black stem. The next can be found on rocks next to cactie, it is fully pink. The last is found in the insides of logs, that are in tundra regions, this shroom is all white & tends to blend into surrounding snow.
If the players can find these shrooms & bring them back within a month, the doctors will reward then with some gold & a magical charm which makes them resistant to illnesses(they get advantage on all con saves)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want to have your a simple side quest about correct mushrooms.
The players are in a small herbalist shop, when the owner of the shop asks if they are will to do some work for them. If the players agree the owner will say that they need some local fungi to help make some rare herbal mixes & to just sell on there own. The owner will give the players half of the price they will sell the mushrooms at if they come back with the mushrooms.
