Painting Portal (special object idea)

Here’s one for you DM”s that want a nifty form of fast traveling. The painting portal is as it suggest, a portal that takes the shape of a painting, These portals were made specifically for magical artists to get from A to B quickly. It's also pirmaly used by noble to secreat escape from places in emaragnacy situations. Players usualy come across these by accidents & or by making them more obvious than normal in there enviorments (they tend to decay at a slower rate than the room they are in). To make one, one must simply find a warp type spell, embue it in an object that attaches to the painting & or is the painting, & then create an exit warp for these. Some more magical artists have an entire warp web with these painting & usualy a central room to access it from. Please note that removing a painting from where it is set can be dangerous if it is made by an ameutor & or if an expert makes it so it does that if removed.

Bring Cookie, Save World (side quest idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that just want a sidequest where the world is at stake… definitely. The players are doing there regular traveling, when they come across a person in some prophet esc clothing. The person will come up to the party & start ranting & raving about how the world is about to end & the players must help them prevent it. If the players agree they will be given a simple instruction “Bring cookie, save world”. If the players decided that they should actually give this prophet a cookie, the profit will proceed to thank them profusely & then run away. If they don’t bring cookie within the next week, an odd earthquake will happen near them… weather anything happens after that is up to the dm.

Hairlum (enemy idea)

No one knows how one of these things are naturally created, but most are made through failed magical experiences. It has an ever present need to get bigger, & since it is made of hair, it will try to steal the hair off of animal & people. Most hairlums average around 3 to 4 feet, but few get taller than that. THere has been a rumored version of the harlem that has gained enough hair to be able to create a human like body, that’s said to be good enough to fool most people… this is only a rumor thigh. Stats Cr: 1/6 Hp: 24 Ac: 12 Str: 10 Dex: 16 Con: 18 [unless attacked by a fire based attack] Int: 8 Wis: 6 Cha: 8 Weakness: Fire [any roll for this creature to prevent itself from starting on fire is -2] Movement: 30ft Ability:  Hair steall: Can steal hair to gain a bigger form [can be used as a 1d6 hea...
