Skeletal Shockers (encounter/world event idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s that want some electric skeletons for your spooky occasions. Tonight’s the night in which the skelaterised undead come back to life. However, as a magical thunder storm comes through, the skeletons become electrified & now TRUE ELECTRIC TERROR is coming to the local populace. During this time, where r the players lay to rest that night, will become besieged by electric skeletons. If the location is not somewhere that's populated/fortified, the group will be quite small, but will have the night to hide themselves during the attack.If they are in a  populated place & or a fortified place, they can expect a larger group of electric skeletons to come & attack them!

Deflective Pollstaff (weapon idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want to a weapon that can deflect ranged attacks Appearance: A long yellow pollstaff. When it’s spun around a blue light appears where it once was! Description: This pollstaff, made by an elf engineer, allows a person to deflect back ranged attacks. This pollstaff only works on physical attacks, & not magical ones. Besides that, spinning it about causes a small amount of light to appear (roughly the size of half a torch light.) Attribute: Allows the player to deflect back physical ranged attacks (require a dex roll that is higher than the enemies hit attempt) -To attempt to do this, the player must spend a bonus action to attempt to block physical ranged attacks.

The invincible Kobold (Encounter idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s that want a “RUN AWAY!” encounter that turns into a curb stomp battle after awhile. The players are dungeoneering through a dungeon, when they come across a room with five kobolds & a pot. Of the players start attacking the kobolds, after 4 of them are dead, the last one will jump into the pot. After a couple of seconds of nothing happening, the kobold will become giant sized (taking up 4 square) & becoming invincible! For the next 3 to 8 turns later, the kobold will turn back to normal (& then presumably the party comes & absolutely destroys them)

Shotting Star (world event idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a simple world event that could lead onto something much more deep! The players are walking around the word, when they spot something falling from the sky in the great distance. It's a shooting star & it's heading towards the ground... at least it look's pretty while it's doing it! Expect high morals from people who saw it & just took in the awww of it or saw it as a good omen. Of course if the party goes to the location of it crashing down, they could find a multitude of things their (what is actually their is up to the dm). Besides that, in the location around the area, animals will not be their for at least 3 days (Due to the impact sacring them away) so expect some misplaced animals for a bit.

Harmful Glare (spell idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s that want a damaging sight based spell Lvl: 3rd Casting time: Action Range: Vision Components: Something that manipulates vision Duration: Instant Spell Description: The player’s eyes gain a type of demonic reddish purple glow that emits a harmful presence towards the person the eye’s are looking at. This spell (if it hits) deals 2d6 + Spell attack modifier to the enemy (increases by 2d6 per Lvl above base cast). The spell caster can attempt to hit 2 enemies with this spell, but each enemy will only receive half damage (round down)

Manipulatable shadow (Spell idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want some good old fancy shadow necromancy utility spell Lvl: 2 Casting time: Action Range: Self - 50ft Components: Something that manipulates the dark Duration:  Concentration Spell Description: This spell allows the user to control their own shadow. The caster’s shadow can affect the word how the caster would, except they can move unepedied anywhere that is within 50ft of the caster. The spell is concentration, but having both you & the manipulatable shadow movie at the same time, will require a concentration check. If the shadow is hit, it’s form will disappear & return back to its owner (Casting this spell at higher lvl’s allows it to get hit equal to the amount of lvl’s above bas [ie 2 = 1 hit, lvl 3 = 2 hits, ect]

A Bottle, a Letter, a Compliment (event idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want some baddie flattery from your friendly villains & or just for their friendly minions. The players are going to rest in their usual base of operation (if there's one), when they notice a strange bottle sitting near their bed. Once they approach  they will notice two things. One is that a letter is attached to it. The other is that it’s a bottle of a rather expensive wine.  The letter on the bottle will read basically a congratulations for making it this far without dying & that the wine is a reward for doing so. The note [dm dependent] can be signed by one of the known villains, if not the actual main villain. An extra layer can be added upon this event, if the location of the bottle is in a location that is meant to be secret from the enemy, in which the implications of it showing up can me many things for the party.

Escape from the Yuan-ti (one-shot idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s who want a stealth/manipulation based oneshot The war between the Yuan-ti & humanity was decisive & quick. The yuan-ti have won the war on the continent & now all who want to survive must hitch a boat out to the islands to be able to live without their persecution. With the increase of Yuan-ti pogroms against humanity & their allies, the party must find a way out of the Yuan-ti’s continent or fake their death. What’s worse is that their may even be a traitor within the group, who is in fact a disguised Yuan-ti [up to the DM if there's one or not].

Cattato (food idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want an uncanny  food item! Appearance: A brown cat shaped potato with legs & a tail. Description: This cat shaped potato, made by a cat loving druid, is just a potato shaped like a cat. There's really not much beyond what this potato presents itself to be. It provides 1 day’s worth of rations on it’s odd size though. Attribute: Provides a day of rations. -Has advantage on being used as a distraction.

Perilous Plant Pit (trap idea)

The players are entering a plant overgrown area, & as the wander around, the floor beneath them doesn't seem to be solid. If the players continue to move about, who even is the heaviest will have the ground below them fall. Make them roll a dex check & on a fail they fall down into the pit. Down in the pit it’s full of vines & plants. The plants in the pit all have some form of “staber” or teeth. These plants will attempt to harm the player every 21 second (ie three turns). The vines on the side of the pit are climbable, but are coated in a slippery substance, so it’s hard to climb

Shadow Mimicker (encounter idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want an encounter to start suddenly! The players are exploring around the forest, when they notice a large figure’s shadow is in front of them. If the players turn around to see what’s causing the shadow they will find no one standing there. Once they turn around again, they will find that the shadow is gone.  For however long they stay in the forest, they will get a feeling that they are being followed. Once they set up camp for the night, the shadow  will emerge once again & attack the party, using the cover of night as a way to help it evade the party’s attacks. If the party is able to defeat this shadow, they will find that it appears to be a weird form of necromancy spell that had gone rouge. The shadow will disappear 5 minutes after it’s defeated!

Collision Chakra (weapon idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s that want a throwable Bouncing melee weapon Appearance: Circular shaped metal chakram, it has a strange greenish-brown glow coming from it. Description: This chakram, made by humans & this one was advanced by each person,  allows the user to throw it & it to be able to bounce off of multiple enemies. This chakram, like many other chakram, can be used as a melee weapon as well. Please note that the chakra will not return back to the user on it’s own. Attribute: This chakra can be used as either a melee weapon or throwing weapon (each dealing 1d6 + dex) -If this weapon hits an enemy when it’s thrown. Roll 1d2 & on a 2 it goes to hit the net closest enemy. --It has to reroll to hit when it attempts to hit the next enemy --Enemy must be within 15 feet of the first target --Can bounce off multiple enemies

Mega-Miniture Umbrella (Item idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want an umbrella that starts out small & comes out HUGE! Appearance: I tiny blue umbrellas, it's top has flowers showed on it. When it's opened it's flower pattern is more spread out as it expands. Description: This umbrella, made by a magician, allows for easy carrying of a large umbrella. The umbrella defends against all regular things umbrella's defends against (Ie rain). It's top covers x3 the regular area of a normal umbrella (ie 15ft). Attribute: Umbrella starts out as small & when opened it covers 15feet in area around it -Takes a bonus action to open it. -Opening it as an attack towards an enemy, will deal 1d2 + dex damage (with a range of 15 feet)

Hugo The Golden (Treausure Idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that want a statue treasure Description: A medium sized state ( 5 feet wide, by 10 feet tall) that is made out of solid silver. It depicts it's maker "Hugo the marauder" with a bar of gold in his hands. Only the outside of the statue is made of gold, the inside is made of granite (the bar of gold is actually a full bar of gold though) Backstory: This statue was made by Hugo the marauder, as a way to show off the great wealth he had gained from marauding. The statues heavy weight (due to being made of gold a granite) came in to be detrimental to Hugo, when he was crushed & killed by it in a raid against his headquarters! Material Value: This statue has great a value amongst anyone (since it's made out of gold), however rich marauders & historians will pay more for it than anyone else. Magical Value: No specific magical value, besides it's mater...

Mind Foiler (Equipment idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want an item to protect your players from psychic attacks. Appearance: A weird crushable metal hat. It has a teal coloring! Description: This hat, made by a conspiracy theorist, make's it's wearer Immune to psychic attacks. The hat doesn't protect it's user from psychical attacks & is very much breakable. The hat can be used to keep food fresh… for some reason Attribute: This hat makes the wearer immune to psychic attacks - Hat can be destroyed from physical attacks [hat has 6 hp] - Food put in the hat will decay a x0.25% of the regular length (please note you can't wear the hat while doing this)

Dimonds & Destructioon (encounter idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a fight with special circumstances The players are going through a mountain based town, when they hear a crowed of people getting ready to go somewhere. If the players go investigate, they will find out that they are planning to raid the local diamond mine. Apparently a hob-goblin had come in & taken it over & now plans to use the diamonds for it's own profit. If the players decided to go with the mob & help, they will be alerted to the fact that the air in the mine can light on fire & that the party "Should not make anything that can make a flicker of a flame". If they do cause something that can light the air on fire, the whole mine will blow up & they will find a quick way out or get SQUISHED. If the player don't do this & is able to take back the mine, they will be rewarded with a small bag of diamonds!

Bardic Amplifyer (Equipment idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want your voice based spells to have a longer range! Appearance: A helmet with some sort of weird cone mechanism near the mouth. Description: This helmet, made by a bard who liked to tinker with stuff, increases the range of voice spells by THREE FOLD. The helmet itself is actually detrimental for protecting one's self, so prepare to mitigate the AC loss somehow! Attribute: Increases the range of voice type spells by 3 times it's base rnage -Decreases AC by -1

Warp Stone (Item idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want an item that can teleport a person back to a location. Appearance: A greyish stone with some sort of triangle blue insignia on it Description: This stone, made by a mage who specialized in logistics, allows a person to teleport to a pre-set location. To set this location, mark a boulder sized rock with the same insignia found on the warp stone. Please note that ANYONE with the stone can do this Attribute: Teleports anyone who uses this item to a predetermined location

Gravity Arrows (Weapon idea)

Here's one for you DM's who want an interesting way to effect your players/enviorments! Appearance: A Purple arrow, it's thick & hollow in the arrow bit. It's tip drip a weird dark bluish purple substance.... Description: This arrow, brought here by a mindflayer's ship, causes those who are hit by it to no longer be effect by gravity. This arrows effect can be used for multiple application & can be used to one's benefit or detriment. Touching the liquid on the top causes the gravity loss effect. Due to it's hollowness, it deals less damage. Attribute: People who are touched by the tip of this arrow will no longer be effect by gravity. -Works for 8 turns -Deal -2 to the damage roll.

Beholder Beholder on the wall (Encounter idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that just want an extra challenge that the party could participate in. The players enter the local in, when they notice a weird mirror on the wall that states  “DO NOT ENTER” under it. If the players ask about, the staff/owner of the establishment will tell them that the mirror is a portal to another area of the world. But that area is just a huge library, with a beholder about it. For the safety of everyone involved, the staff have put up the “DO NOT ENTER” on it. The players at anypoint can go into the mirror & fight the beholder! If the players win the fight, they will gain the admiration of all the staff & customers PLUS the local librarian will pay them handsomely for this new addition in books. If they fail, they will be booted out of the portal, with most of their gear & money gone. All books the party possed will be taken by behold in the case of a loss.

D-Com (Campaign idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s who honestly just want a fantasy X-Com Campaign. The world is at a turnpoint. The first forces from an unknown realm has brought onto the world a pleagu of some sort of new & more powerful demons! They come in small numbers, limited by something that we do not know, & has given us a chance to fight back. The nations of the world have come together to form an organization to deal with these demons. This organization, D-Com (Demon Combat), is the only hope for our world, let’s hope they are able to stand strong & united to be able to repel this demon threat! This campaign can be played as a 2 person campaign (1 dm & 1 player) where it is actually played as an exmpy of how X-com plays (with the player taking up the  commanding roll) or it can be played with more people & having  the players being an all important squad in deciding the fate of the world. (Possible Game Modulus) New Age of Magic: With the coming of this demo...

Feats Bundle #3 (feats idea)

Here’s some more feats for you Dm’s that like this kind of things. 1: Improvised master: All improvised weapons gain +2 to hit & to damage. 2: Elemental Handler: All weapons/items that are imbued with an elemental attribute, will giant a +3 on use (+3 to hit as well) 3:Smith’s Nemesis: Has the option to “break weapon” as an action. If the player’s attack hits, the enemy must roll a con save & must beat the players “Con+Pro+8” & on a fail, their weapon will break. 4: Profitier: Gain’s 5% more coins from any & all transactions 5: Fortifier: Can create a defensive struct as an action, this acts as full cover for anyone that uses it

Fencing (encounter idea)

Here’s one for you Dm’s that wants to fight an enemy with a strong improvised weapon (ie a literal fence). The part is going about a rural area, when a hal-elf farm gets fling right passed them. If the players go looking what caused it, they will find that there's a hill giant thrashing about in a farm. If the players go to engage the hill giant, the giant will arm themselves with a wooden fence & begin to start “fencing” the party. If the party wins the battle, then they will be rewarded two ducks & a goose by the farm’s owner… whenever they finally get around to waking up from being tossed.

Npc Bundle: Cursed & the Damned (npc idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that need some people that have been afflicted by something of the magical verity 1: A dwarf miner who has had most of their arm turned into gold due to underground fey magic. Do not touch the gold arm, it is a source of pride & value. 2: A pure breed yuan-ti who was turned into a HUMAN! Due to yuan-ti’s culture, the pure breed has been thrown out till they can find a way to “Fix this”. 3: A giant dog who has been made into a oozey dog due to eating a strange ooze orb that was found at the bottom of the lake.  4: A Drow who was made into a fly, due to a faux pas that was done in front of a lolith priestess 5: A stone giant that has been cursed with a spell that increases its weight. It’s currently stuck in the ground due to said wight. 6: A halfling warlock, who has been cursed with the ability to become a sort of object on verbal command. Is currently stuck in the form of “half a stool & a nifty flower”, due to not thinking out a ...
