D-Com (Campaign idea)
Here’s one for you DM’s who honestly just want a fantasy X-Com Campaign.
The world is at a turnpoint. The first forces from an unknown realm has brought onto the world a pleagu of some sort of new & more powerful demons! They come in small numbers, limited by something that we do not know, & has given us a chance to fight back. The nations of the world have come together to form an organization to deal with these demons. This organization, D-Com (Demon Combat), is the only hope for our world, let’s hope they are able to stand strong & united to be able to repel this demon threat!
This campaign can be played as a 2 person campaign (1 dm & 1 player) where it is actually played as an exmpy of how X-com plays (with the player taking up the commanding roll) or it can be played with more people & having the players being an all important squad in deciding the fate of the world.

New Age of Magic: With the coming of this demon threat, so comes their advancements. They possess vast amounts of magical spells & ability that we do not possess. With our ability to learn their spells, we can gain knowledge to bring about a new age of magic!
-[All magic based classes can’t get spells above LVL 3 at the beginning of the game. As the game progress higher LVL spells are able to be learnt & used]
Rise of the Tieflings: Tieflings never existed before the invasion. Yet with the coming of the invasion, they make a noticeable appearance in the world. Weather they come here as part of enemy units (being used as supports, engineer, or even just as forced neighbor), or were birthed into this world from dark rituals or from… unsavory activities, they have nonetheless made an impression & are here to stay
