The Outcast (Villian idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that want a villain that the hero could absolutely get behind.

The outcast was once just a regular person, but due to society unacceptance of how they live their life, they have been driven out & now seek revenge on the people who cause this to them. The outcast tends to be harder to find than most villains due to their need to avoid those in society who seek to driven them into death. They also tend to be more sympathetic than other villains & the more cunning outcasts use this to their advantage.

Types of 'The Outcast'

The Reformist: They were thrown out of society due to their weird political philosophies. Weather they be for the abolishment of the monarchy, the disempowerment of religious centers, or just very passionate about a curtain 'not to be talked about' political opinions, they were thrown out for their ideas. But the thing with ideas is, that people no matter who they are, gravitate towards them & thus gravitate towards the outcast's side.

The Kin: They were thrown out of society due to the preconceived  'wickedness, & evil' of their kin. Of course they were only one of many of their kin to have faced this, but they plan to put an end to it. Why should their specie be treated as 'naturally evil' why must they be cast aside for all that is good in the world. Theirs plans to reach this, actually doesn't help disprove the social belief about their kin, in fact it probably does the opposite & enforces the nation of their kin's 'wickedness'.

The Magic-Mancer: They were thrown out of society due to the notion that some forms of magic are wielded by those who strive for 'power' & nothing else. Of course this leads to the dilemma where important fields of magic are demeaned 'off-limits' & those who want to be an accepted magic user, & thus those who strive to push the magic field farther & end up having to push this magical field forward as well tend to be seen as 'traitors of magic'. This has lead to one of many very powerful magic users whishing to seek revenge against their colleges who casted them out, when all they were doing was just trying to advance the understanding of the fundamental priceable that they have all grown accustom to.

The Lovers: They were thrown out of society due to their love being unaccepted by society. Weather it from people not accepting their type of relation, or from people who latterly think that a relationship of this type is akined to 'evil', they have none the less been thrown out of society for their love. They have now since just screwed with society, as a type of resistance to their ideals of extinguishing their love.

Virtues: Sypathetic, sneaky

Flaws: Social unaccepted, not as powerfull as the regular villain.
