Saving The World On A Budget (Campaign idea)
Here's one for you Dm's that want a simple campaign with a twist.
The world is having a crisis which could destroy the world as we know it & the players have been put into the position to stop this. This would be a somewhat difficult task on it's own, but it got much worse, as the countries of the world are now contributing only a small portion of what they should, in there own selfish interests. Now the players must find a way to save the world on a budget.

Possible: "What they are saving the world from."
Necromancer's wrath: The world is fighting against the wrath of a scorned necromancer. The countries of the world really don't see this necromancer as a problem, since the necromancer's forces are small. However, the necromancer's army grows quickly with each city conquered & soon they may have a force that might be unstoppable.
Mindflayer's Invasion: The world is being besieged by a conquer from beyond the stars. The international community is not really concerned since it's just 'one person'. However the mindflayer's advanced technology & it's ability to make minions out of the literal brains of people can make them a difficult force to combat.
Hell on Earth: The world has had a portal from one of the layers of the nine hells open on it & now creatures from hell are storming out in numbers. The nations of the world are not concerned due to the fact that the location the portal opened up in is quite a remote & distant region. However the forces of that layer of hell is about to gain some leadership & there evil force may just become organized enough to be a threat to the world
