Rulers of Villainy (villain idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want some evil ruling couples.

They're vile, they're cruel, they rule, & they'll put you in the gravel. They are an irrespirable pair who use their powers as the rulers of their lands to seek their despicable goals. They have spent many an hour plotting & scheming & have put themselves in the positions to go into their first steps of whatever evil plan they have. The only thing more powerful than their vile ambition, is their love for each other.

Rulers of Villainy Types 

The Face, & The Brains: One is the public relations, making sure that the unsuspecting public think that their rulers are doing their all in advancing their lives. The Face, an extrovert by nature, will spend most of their time making sure to rule in such a wat that they seem just, while actually diverting resources to their evil plan. The Brains, an introvert by nature, is the one responsible for making this whole show go on. Making sure the wrong information gets to the right people, keeping those who see though the face's mask of goodness under their thumb. The Brains spend most of their time using the resources, that face gets, on pursuing their ambition.

The Prestige & The Piety: Spending time in the higher racket of society has garnered these two a glorious reputation. One (the prestige) is seen as the one everyone should aspire to be. They are brave, heroic, & kind (which is all a lie, made from tall tales & false reports). This has got them the popular support of the nobility & of the average guard or soldier. The other (the piety) is seen as a holy person of great magnitude. They spend most of their time to elevating a pious attitude amongst those in their ranks, in order to keep with their god's values (Which is twist in order to gain loyalty & trust in those that are willing to their words on what the gods say).

The Insane, & The Machiavellian: One (the insane) is only qualified in causing murder, destruction, & pain. The other (the Machiavellian) is an opportunists, who uses their lover's wild & murderess nature to cultivate an image that makes the general public to fearful to ever stand up against them. The Insane spends most of their time doing truly awful things. Murder, torture, burning down infrastructure, theft, whatever you can think off, they have at least tried to attempt it (whether or not them being insane is their true personality, or a façade, s up to the dm).
