D&D Ideas

Here's one for you DM's that want an event that will demoralize basically everyone. The world is filled with wonders, both natural & those made by us. Today one of those great wonders was pillaged, desecrated, destroyed & then set on fire. It's beauty now only rest in the minds of those who saw it & now only the ashes remain. This has sent both outrage & despair into the hearts of many, but one thing is for curtain, they will have their revenge on whoever did this. But until then, public unrest, riots, & a general bad mood are to be expected.

Here's one for you DM's that want some owlbears to be doing bear stuff around the players. The players are walking though the woods, when they find a very deep slope. At the bottom of the slope is a tree line that prevents the party from seeing what is down their. If anyone decides to go down the slope, they will have to make a dex save to make sure that they don't slip & fall all the way down. Once they reach the bottom they will see a nice little spring that has some shiny gemstones in the middle of it. What they also see is about 3 - 8 owlbears just chilling out & doing bear things (ie rubbing backs against trees, eating fish, ect). At this point the player that is down their must find a way to get though without angering the bears.

Here's one for you Dm's that just need a remote location for remote location reasons (Ie someone of importance is there, & or it's a getaway are for the players to go to) Appearance: A medium sized wood campaign that has found itself perched near the edge of a mountain. Snow covers the top of it, as well as peppering some of the walls. Description: This cabin, made by an old mountaineer, gets rented out to people every so often. The cabin has seen better days, but is still in better condition than most. People who usually come here are people looking for a vacation place for the week & or people who wish to just isolate themselves from society for awhile. The cabin owner has made a nice path from the bottom of the mountain, to the cabin (though it tends to get covered up by snow every so often).
