Duck Wedding (side quest idea)

Here's one for you DM's that just want a straight up odd side quest. The players are walking around the hub, when they two magical ducks, talking in common, about how they need help setting up their wedding. If the players offer to help the ducts will thank them & then give them a list of stuff they need to do. -1: Find a person who can make the suit & dress for the ducks -2: Find a baker who can make a 'bread cake'. -3: Find a venue by a lake -4: Invite the family (both families can be found at different lakes) -5:Find someone who is willing to wed these ducks (allot harder than it would seem [since no-one wants be know as that person who married ducks ]) If the players do this they will be invited to view the wedding & will also be given some gold for all the hard work they do.

Arrows From Afar (trap idea

Here's one for you Dm's that want an arrow trap. So the players have to walk down a long unlit corridor. After awhile if one of them fails a perception than a dex save they will trip a wire. At this they will hear a 'fwassop' sound. They will have about 5 seconds to dodge/block before a 'wall of arrows' goes at them. After that round of arrows, two more will arrive. The next round will come about 15 seconds later, & the last will  arrive when they are nearing the end of the hall.

Counsel of Schollars (Association Idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that just want a group of smart people (who are of different levels of jackassery/sarcastic) Description: This is an Association for all of those who delve themselves into the sciences, the understandings of magic, engineering's of limit pushing devices, & or just generally smart people who can pass the initiation. Background: This Association was made just a few years ago & yet it has a flourishing population of some of the smartest people. It was made when two scientists found an interesting property in the world & they both struggled to find someone else who can help clarify it with them. From that they made an association built around helping the advancements of the current boundary of limitation though having many experts who can critique each others work.
