Alcohol room (area/encounter idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a flamble room, but also a lootable room if you play your cards right! The players are searching around a house dungeon, when they come acrossed a room full of alcohol barrels. When they are about half way through the room, a couple of bandits with flaming arrows pop out put from the other end of the room. When ever one of the flaming arrows/any fire base attacks, roll a 1d20, & on anyrhing above a 15, one of the barrela catch fire! If the room is lit on fire, have the fire travel around the room via the barrels & then work it's way to the center.

Darkness Lantern (Item idea)

Here's one for you Dm's that just need an item to make places, unusually dark! Appearance: A silver looking candle holder with a dark blue flame coming from within. Description: This lantern, made by a vampire, turns all candles put in it into light absorbing candles. The candles range of stealing light is about 5 - 25 feet (counting on the size of the flame). It has primarily been used by vampires to defend themselves from sunlight, & or by the clever thief, who would use it as a type of invisibility. (Please note that if your inside the range of the candle, you can't see anything [due of the lack of light not hitting your eye]) Attribute; Turns all candle put into it, into light absorbing candles -Range of 5ft - 25ft -Can't See anything if you are within the range of the candle.

Hat Smacking Scarecrow (event idea)

Here's one for you DM's that want a funny event. The players are going through a farm field, when they encounter a scarecrow. As the players walk past it, something knocks all thier hats/helmets off. If the players go back to chekc what has happened, they will only find the scarecrow. If the players leave with there hats ona again, they will get knocked off again.  When the players get keyed in that the scarecrow is doing this, the scarecrow will, ironically, get scared &run away. The scarecrow's hat will fall off as it runs away.
