Statued Person (Sidequest idea)
Here's one for you DM's that want a Sidequest that's based around unstatueing a person.
The players are walking around a new town, when they come across a statue in the middle of a town. Their a plaque on the statue that reads "This is what is left of the famed artist Penola Agnus The Third, turn into a statue by a permanent petrification ray, ### coin reward for anyone who can unpetrified them" If the players take the challenge to try & unpetrified Penora they will have to get creative to figure it out.
Of course any advanced enough decursing/spell dispelling/ & or wish spell will work. However if that's not possible they can get help from a local witch & use a bunch of healing spells on the statue while the witch does a slow decursing ritual.
