The Blessed (Noteworthy NPC)
Here's one for you DM's that wants an NPC that's got a stupidly large amount of godly fortune on their side.
The Blessed has been blessed by the gods (or by a god). For what reasons they have done this, are differing from a person to person basis. This blessedness usually come/came along with some sort of goal that need/was accomplished, so don't be surprised if they are doing odd things. The folks who have become 'The Blessed' are usually very devout individuals & support the gods who made them blessed, so don't be surprised if they are very defensive about any sort of perceived hostility towards said gods.

Types Of 'The Blessed'
The Karma-ed: The Karma-ed got blessed by the gods for their good karma. They are living proof that sometimes being the absolute selfless in helping others, can pay out. The blessing that they have been given allows for them to give, & give, & give as much as they want with having what is given being replaced with another version soon after.
The Mission: The mission was sent out by the gods to do, well, a mission. What this mission entails is up to the gods, but it will usually be a very long quest to either stop something or prevent something. The blessing they will be given would either be one that allows then to fight better/inspire people in battle & or one that makes it easier to recruit more people to there cause.
The Re-incarnated: The Re-incarnated had done something great in their past that appeased one/some of the gods. Due to this, they were given another chance at life as a new person. A life that many would never have the chance to experience. Their blessing allows them to be guided back to their old morals & beliefs so that they could guide their cause farther than they were able to in their past life.
The Cursed: The Cursed was not given a good slot in life. Even from the beginning it has taken tooth & nail to stay alive in this cruel, cruel, world. But their hard fought life has not gone unnoticed. Sadly the one that noticed only wishes to drag them down. Their 'blessing' makes it so that any outcome that the cursed gets into, is always a negative one.
