Momentum Whip (Spell idea)
Here's one for you dm's that want to fast being to be punished
Lvl: 2
Casting time: 2 turns
Range: 150ft
Components: Something that could cause a slippery surface (ice, butter, ect…), something that can make/uses wind
Duration: Instant
Spell Description: This spell forces a person to move their regular speed into one of the 8 directions. A person can try to fight against this with a dex save & on a success the effect will be halved (on fail it does not change). When cast at a higher lvl it's 10ft x lvl above. (lvl 2 = regular amount, lvl 3 = regular amount + 10 * 1, lvl 4 = regular amount + 10 *2, Ect). If the person had sprinted before this spell was used, they will take 1d4 per 10ft of damage & the distance they are pushed is doubled.
Backstory: This spell was made by a cattle rustler who got sick of one particular cow, which would walk as far away from it's peen as possible & just lay down so it couldn't be moved. At some point the cattle rustler got so sick of dealing with this, they commissioned a wizard to make a spell to deal with this.
