The Glorious Scimitar (Treasure Idea)
Here's one for you DM's that want a only ceremonial weapon
Description: A very lengthy scimitar that has a gold hilt embezzled with mutable coloured gems. The place where the sharp steal should be is replaced by a reflected glass like quarts, & has a light located inside of it so that the reflective glass is always glowing with a magnificent glassy shimmer. It is absolutely useless as a weapon, & is very strictly sound.
Backstory: This scimitar was made after an ancient ruler united a large chunk of land & made their royal scimitar into this glorious scimitar as to show that the age of fighting is over & that all weapons likes their new glorious scimitar are now useless & only decretory. Of course this didn't last after they died & the scimitar has now switched hands so many times that it has become a legendary treasure due to it being nearly impossible to replicated (due to the shear amount of rare/spend materials used in it & the fact that it's hard to replicated the magnificent glassy scimitar), & the fact that it would end up in the oddest of hands. Somewhere in the world, theirs an official tracker to all the treasure hunters that have found/re-found this scimitar, since it's almost like a proof of skill if you are of the select few individuals who have found it after it would get lost/pawned/changed hands again.
Material Value: It's one of a kind & quite famous amongst adventure & nobility while it is just fairly well know with the regular populace. Their is no dedicated price for this treasure as it's price changes from whom it was offered to. None the less this scimitar usually sells for extremely high prices.
Magical Value: The only magical value this scimitar has is that some of the material used in it can be used for spells as well.
